Conformation Handling Seminar

"Betty, one of the students from the eight-week course, originally came to the class looking to learn some of the basics to make her a better handler.  She bred Sharpeis for years, but had never had great success because she never felt the confidence to do well as a handler.  About a year after completing the course she entered her dogs in an international show and found herself competing directly against Mr. Arthur in the Bred By Exhibitor group.  With her new-found confidence gained during the course, she excelled in her handling skills and one the class, three out of four shows, going on from there to win Best Bred By In Show at one point.  Having a good dog helps, but having a great presentation makes all the difference in the world, and this course gave Betty the tools to give that presentation."
